Kate Bosworth wants to look back on her life and know it was full of love.

The 33-year-old actress prioritises her relationships over everything else in her life, including her career, and she wants to able to reminisce when she's older and recall that she devoted all her heart to her husband Michael Polish and was emotionally generous to her family and friends.

Bosworth - who was previously in a three-year relationship with Orlando Bloom and then in another high-profile romance with Alexander Skarsgard before settling down - said: "At the end of my life, the thing I'm going to ask myself is, 'Did I love really well? Was I loved well?' Those are the things that are most important to me. If I feel like I'm successful in those two things, then I think I've lived a pretty happy life."

Bosworth is inherently a positive person and she made a decision years ago to not let online haters bring her down.

The 'Straw Dogs' star does use social media platforms such as Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram but she never pays attention to the trolls who inhabit those forums.

In an interview in the October 2016 issue of FASHION Magazine - of which she is the cover star - she said: "When I was about 21, I remember reading comments about me that were horrifying. I felt like I was standing in a roomful of people that were talking mean-spiritedly about me. It was then that I made a conscious decision to stay away from that negativity."

Bosworth began her acting career at the age of 15 in

'The Horse Whisperer' and was then catapulted to fame by 2002 surfing movie 'Blue Crush' when she was just 19.

The screen beauty believes she has lasted so long in the movie business because she is respectful to everyone who is part of the filmmaking process.

She shared: "When it comes to my career, being vindictive or harsh doesn't suit me or anyone else that I work with at all. But you can find resolve and passion in a lot of what I do."

The October 2016 issue of FASHION Magazine is available from September 19.
