Jay Z and Beyonce are staging a charity concert next month.

The couple - who have four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy together - will perform at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, on October 15, along with Nicki Minaj, Lauryn Hill and Lil' Wayne and all the proceeds will go to charity.

According to the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column, tickets for the Tidal show will start at $50, but there will be VIP packages available for a staggering $100,000.

Proceeds will be divided between charities nominated by the artists on the bill, and the Robin Hood Foundation, which fights poverty and funds educational programmes in the poorest areas of New York.

The gig will also stream live on Tidal.

Perhaps the gig would be a good time for Jay and Beyonce to unveil music they were said to have been working on together earlier this year.

The couple made headlines after the 'Formation' singer released her visual album 'Lemonade' on April 23, as many of the lyrics on the record appeared to suggest the rapper had been unfaithful, but they had worked through their problems.

And though the pair never spoke out to address the speculation, it was claimed they planned to respond on a joint album that would be released on Tidal instead.

A source said: "Jay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after 'Lemonade.' It's more their style to respond through music."

It is not known how long they've been working on the new secret album as Beyoncé is busy in the midst of her 'Formation World Tour' but it is a project which has been rumored for years.

it's not the first time the couple - who married in April 2008 - have collaborated together - in 2002 they recorded 'Bonnie & Clyde' followed by 2003's 'Crazy In Love'.

Beyoncé, 35, also laid down vocals on her 45-year-old spouse's 'Hollywood', and more recently, they have worked together on 'Lift Off', 'Drunk in Love' and 'Part II (On the Run)'.
