Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have welcomed a baby girl into the world.

The Maroon 5 frontman and his model wife have become parents for the first time, E! News have confirmed, though details such as her birth date, name, and weight have not been confirmed.

The 37-year-old star recently spoke of how excited he was to be a father and how much he was looking forward to spoiling his wife.

He said: "It's awesome. I'm going to be a dad. S**t, I'm excited. I'm going to be a f***ing dad. I'm going to spoil Behati ...

"Kid's not even out yet. Can't be spoiling a kid before a kid gets out."

And the 'Voice' coach previously admitted he is definitely "ready" to be a father.

He said: "I'm ready to be a dad. You're born to be a parent, that's what we're here for, really. All the other s*** is great, but it's not what we're here for."

However, he is trying to ignore some of the advice he and Behati, 27, have been offered as they want to bring up their little girl in their own way.

He shared: "When you are doing this for the first time, everybody loves to tell you what you should be doing. So, we're kind of tuning a lot of it out and we're just going to do it how we do it."

Adam has been desperate to have kids for quite some time, revealing he wanted a big family soon after he tied the knot with the model in 2014.

He said at the time: "We're definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible. [I want] like, 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much though."
