Kim Kardashian West is taking some "much-needed time off" after being robbed at gunpoint

Stephanie Sheppard, the reality star's assistant who calls herself Steph Shep, took to the raven-haired beauty's website to update fans on her progress, and while admitting the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star is likely to be away from the spotlight for the foreseeable future, her app and webpage will be kept updated by her pals.

In a handwritten latter shared on the site on Monday (17.10.16), she

wrote: "Hey group, so you may have noticed we haven't updated the app in a couple weeks.

"Keeks is taking some much needed time off.

"But not to worry we've called upon Kim's closest friends, fam and yours truly to save up some exclusives.

"Stay tuned for new posts and app takeovers!!

"Thank you so much for your support for my girl.

    "Love you mean it!"

Kim was tied up with plastic handcuffs and duct tape during the incident in Paris, France, earlier this month by armed, mask robbers who took off with $10 million worth of jewellery from her apartment in the French capital.

The star was spotted out for the first time since the horrific ordeal last Thursday (13.10.16) when she went to dinner in Los Angeles with a pal.

Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian recently admitted her sibling is still "not doing that well" following the robbery.

The brunette beauty said last week: "She's not doing that well. It's incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together.

"We do appreciate all of your guys' love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her.

"It's just a wake-up call to make a lot of life adjustments. This is a really serious matter.

"For Kim I think it's really personal as to when that emotional, like, terror you could move on from.

"It's a wake-up call for all of us, but definitely [the focus is] just to make sure our sister is OK."
