Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel will marry next year

The 33-year-old beauty - who has a five-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom - got engaged to the Snapchat founder in June after dating for a year and a half, and their wedding plans are already underway.

Asked if they've set a date, she said: "It'll be next year. I can't wait."

Though the former Victoria's Secret Angel was overwhelmed with happiness when Evan, 26, popped the question, she wasn't expecting him to propose.

She said: "[Was I expecting it?] Absolutely not. He said to me, 'Miranda, I'm telling you now, this is the first and last time I'm going to kneel down in front of you,'

"I was terribly nervous and emotional, trembling with happiness."

Though Miranda didn't rush into introducing Evan to Flynn, she loves seeing the bond between them now.

She said: "They adore each other. At first I was very careful as I wanted to be certain our relationship was serious. Now I love to watch them playing together."

The Australian model shares a "conservative" attitude with Evan, as well as a number of other values and interests.

She explained: "Evan is real homebody like me. We have little dinner parties for our friends - he loves my cooking.

"Both of us are quite conservative even though we come from different worlds.

"But we have common values, a sense of loyalty, family and honesty. I tend to trust other people more easily.

"Evan is more guarded and reserved. It's a good balance."

And the Kora Organics founder can always turn to her fiance when she needs advice.

She told Paris Match magazine: "We spend hours talking about everything. He listens to me and he understands me.

"He works very hard and he's proud that I've started my own business. He gives me tons of advice. He's my soulmate."
