Olivia Culpo hosted this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade

The 24-year-old model and actress led the annual celebration alongside her co-host Marlon Wayans on Thursday (24.11.16) to celebrate the national holiday in America, which she announced via social media earlier today.

The 'The Other Woman' star shared a motion picture of her sporting a crisp white ensemble with matching gloves and bobble hat to her Instagram account.

The brunette beauty captioned the post: "I'll be hosting the #MacysParade today with @MarlonWayans!!!! See the parade like never before with a #Verizon360 live stream on @Verizon's YouTube channel. We're just about to get started!!!! https://youtu.be/eEVUjvSc8Wk #sponsored (sic)."

The fashion muse - who was crowned Miss USA in 2012 - teased she was working on "something exciting" earlier today.

She said: "When the hotel lets you steal their coffee cup! #SCORE. Up before the sun this AM. Doing something exciting for the #macysparade stay tuned and HAPPY THANKSGIVING (sic)."

Meanwhile, the 44-year-old actor has hinted he has enjoyed working with Olivia for the celebratory event, which is the 90th year the department store has held the procession that goes from Upper West Side, New York, to Herald Square.

Alongside a picture of the pair of Marlon and Olivia, which the 'Fifty Shades of Black' star shared to his photo-sharing site, he wrote: "Good times hosting @macys #macydayparade for #verizon360 in #nyc #happythanksgivng (sic)."

And the march, which was led by New York's Police Department (NYPD) on motorcycles, saw volumes of inflatable balloons, including one of the Pokémon favourite Pikachu, Hello Kitty and Ronald McDonald float overhead whilst spectators gazed in awe.

Meanwhile, Olivia has revealed she is nervous her mother, Susan, will invite her driver - who is a "complete stranger" - in to her home to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with her and her family.

Speaking about her fear in her Instagram story, Olivia wrote: "Just finished the parade and now heading home to Rhode Island for some TURKEYYYYYYY.

"And I am already anticipating the moment my mom invites my driver in to eat something ( a completely stranger) (sic)."
