    Woman critical in Auckland pool incident

    A woman has been pulled from a pool and rushed to hospital in a critical condition after an incident in Auckland.


    A young woman has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being pulled from a pool in Auckland.

    The woman in her 20s was treated at the scene in Lake Road, Takapuna before being taken to North Shore Hospital.

    Paramedics were called after the woman was discovered unresponsive in a backyard pool at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.

    Police are investigating but don't believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
