    Body recovered from Rotorua lake

    The body of the 48-year-old man who has been missing for a week has been recovered from Lake Rotoiti near Rotorua on Thursday morning.


    The body of a 48-year-old man missing in Lake Rotoiti at Rotorua has been recovered.

    The man, Colin McCormick, was recovered by search and rescue volunteers shortly before 7am on Thursday.

    He was thought to have jumped from his boat on the lake a week ago, and failed to resurface.
