Wendy Williams has slammed Angelina Jolie's new role as the the face of Mon Guerlain

The 52-year-old television presenter has blasted the 'Maleficent' star and the beauty brand for allowing her to promote their new fragrance because she doesn't think it is the right time with her on-going divorce and custody battle with 'Allied' star Brad Pitt, 53.

The US talk show host doesn't think anyone would want to "smell" like the 41-year-old actress because of what she is putting their children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, through.

Speaking on the Hot Topics section of her 'The Wendy Williams Show' on Wednesday (25.01.17), the busty blonde said: "I just think it's a weird time for her to be announced as the face of Guerlain.

"I don't want to smells this girl.

"Not now because she doesn't smell so right just now on the account of what's going with she and Brad and the kids, and you don't know whose side to be on ...

"Well she will reportedly donate her salary to charity does that make it better for you I don't know?"

Wendy thinks that Guerlain probably had the collaboration lined up for some time, before the couple's legal proceedings kicked off.

She added: "I suspect that Guerlain has been sitting on this announcement of her being the face probably since before the holidays and then the whole divorce thing has blown up in her face."

The fashion designer didn't stop there with her insults and said that the brunette beauty is "half hated", and that she can't understand why global stars need to do endorsements.

She argued: "It's just, you know she's half hated.

"She's a worldwide person but half the people don't like her.

"And the other half might want to smell like her but you have have the money to get Guerlain.

"I don't know why some of these big giants stars do some of these ads.

"Nothing against the make-up and the clothing and everything but there's just certain people ... like to go to a shoot and collect some money even if you're giving to charity.

"I think she's too big for that. I miss the days when the models were models."
