Niall Horan thinks Liam Payne and his girlfriend Cheryl will have a "lovely" child

The 23-year-old former One Direction hunk thinks his friend is probably "nervous" about becoming a father for the first time, but thinks the news - which the couple haven't officially confirmed - is "very exciting".

He told the Daily Star Online: "I'm looking forward to it.

"Liam hasn't said he's nervous but I'm sure he is.

"I bet he can't wait as well. It is a very exciting thing in your life.

"He's great and she's lovely, it will be a lovely child. They are in love."

The 'This Town' singer showed off his new darker locks at the launch of Larry King's new salon in West London, which was sponsored by Copper Dog Whisky, on Wednesday (25.01.17) evening and admitted he has reverted back to his natural colour because he was so sick of the upkeep it took to keep his hair blonde.

He said: "Everyone is getting excited about my hair.

"To be honest it is too much of a pain in the arse to keen dying it.

"I don't have the time to keep it up and it is my natural colour so if it doesn't suit me then I'm f***ed."

While Liam, 23, and 33-year-old Cheryl - who have been dating for over a year - haven't officially confirmed their baby news, the 'Fight For This Love' hitmaker's growing bump was visible when they attended a carol concert together in November, and an Instagram video of her at a photoshoot earlier this month also showed her fuller figure, though the clip has since been deleted.

Niall was joined at the launch of the flagship salon and afterparty at the exclusive Alberts club by a host of stars, including model David Gandy, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, singer Pixie Lott and her fiancé Oliver Cheshire, former England stars Jamie Redknapp and Frank Lampard and his presenter wife Christine.

The guests at the bash were served Copper Dog Whisky cocktails, including

Appledog, Copper Highball and Old Dog Copperdog.
