Kendall Jenner has confessed that she was scared of telling her parents about boyfriends as a teenager

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has opened up about feeling so mortified about telling mother Kris Jenner and her father Caitlyn - formerly Bruce Jenner - of her relationships because she thought she would get told off.

In a new post for her blog, she wrote: "My dad didn't really know I had a boyfriend! Even though my mom had an idea, I was really weird about telling them because I thought I'd get in trouble."

However, the 21-year-old model said she is "glad my parents trusted me enough to let me have a good high school experience."

The brunette beauty - who previously had an on/off relationship with One Direction's Harry Styles - hasn't changed much two years on from being a teenager, as she still keeps her boyfriends private.

Kendall is reportedly seeing rapper A$AP Rocky, the pair have been rumoured to be dating since August, and during a trip to New York City with her younger sister Kylie on last week, she reportedly spent 45 minutes inside Rafaello & Co.'s jewellery store with the hunk.

A source said: "They were helping each other pick stuff out. Kendall also got fitted for a pair of gloves they're working on for her."

Kendall - who has also been romantically linked to basketball star Jordan Clarkson in the past - previously insisted she is "old-fashioned" when it comes to dating and likes to be pursued.

She explained: "It's not that I'm scared of asking a guy out or showing him that I like him, it's just that I'd much rather be pursued. I definitely like the chase and the feeling of being wanted.

And, the way I see it, if a guy isn't going to put in the effort and ask me out, then the relationship probably won't work. It would be a waste of time for me. Call me a little old-fashioned, but it's just what I like!"
