Ed Sheeran's 'Divide' is number one in the UK for the second week in a row

The 26-year-old singer/songwriter's album is also dominating the singles charts, with four tracks from the record - 'Shape of You', 'Galway Girl', Castle on the Hill' and 'Perfect' - in the top five.

Ed's third record set a record as the fastest-selling album by a male artist ever with 672,000 sales in its first week, and followed that with another 304,000 combined units sold over the last seven days, to ensure it topped the Official Albums Chart again

All 16 of 'Divide's songs are in the Top 40, with nine in the Top 10.

This tops off an exciting week for Ed, after he was confirmed as the final headliner for Glastonbury.

Ed ended weeks of speculation with an Instagram video, in which he revealed the news that he will close the iconic music event at Somerset's Worthy Farm on 25 June.

He said in the clip: "Hello from Turin, we're here starting the tour off and I want to make an announcement, which is I'm headlining Glastonbury on the Sunday night, which is awesome."

Ed - who previously played the festival in 2011 and 2014 - joins previously announced headliners Foo Fighters and Radiohead.

Glastonbury takes place from June 21 to June 25.
