Perrie Edwards is missing her new boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain while she's on tour

The Little Mix singer has been dating the English soccer star since late last year and Perrie has taken to Instagram to post a loved-up snap of her boyfriend, admitting she is missing his company.

The 23-year-old star, who was previously engaged to former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, wrote alongside the cute snap: "Apologies for this extra af, cheese on toast post.... But s**t I miss him toooo much! @alexoxchamberlain (sic)"

The snap shows Alex and Perrie - who is holding a glass in one hand - sharing a passionate kiss and has already liked more than 300,000 times on the photo-sharing website.

Perrie's decision to post the picture comes shortly after she gushed about Alex in an interview.

The celebrity duo were initially coy about their burgeoning romance, but have seemingly become more comfortable with the attention in recent weeks, with Perrie describing the Arsenal star as "cute" and "sexy".

During the interview, Perrie was asked about her love life and she shared: "I have a boyfriend. His name is Alex, he plays for Arsenal. He's very cute, and hot, and sexy."

Alex is Perrie's first serious love interest since her split from Zayn in 2015.

And while Alex, 23, remains focused on soccer, Perrie is helping him to pursue his ambition of becoming a DJ, too.

A source recently said: "Ox has a big passion for music and DJing has become one of his hobbies.

"He has decks and often picks tunes for the Arsenal dressing room.

"Perrie is encouraging it as their love of music is one of the main things they have in common.

"She has loads of friends in the industry who can help him out, including producers and other DJs, so she's told him she'll put him in touch.

"He's not planning to be the next Calvin Harris, his priority is football, but he does love DJing and wants to see where it can go."
