James Corden would "love" to bring 'Carpool Karaoke' to his home town of High Wycombe in England

The 38-year-old TV star has turned the segment on 'The Late Late Show', in which he shares a car journey with a well known musician, into an internet sensation and James has now revealed he'd love to bring the concept to the town in which he was born.

James said their route could take in the local villages of Micklefield, Loudwater and then Totteridge, adding: "Then we'd probably go up Amersham Hill ... through Hazlemere, through the crossroads, down, up to Holmer Green and then maybe you could carry on to Amersham. But that's a different town and I don't want to step on any toes.

"But yes, a 100 per cent. We'd stop in the Corn Market for a McDonald's."

James also admitted that because of the show's intense nature, a new idea can often come to fruition in a matter of hours.

He told the Bucks Free Press newspaper: "If we have an idea, we do it that night. We do like 300 shows a year or something crazy. We're always working on stuff."

Earlier this month, James admitted to being surprised by the success of 'Carpool Karaoke', and then revealed his intention to bring it to the UK.

He previously said: "It's taken us all by surprise, the success, especially of that particular segment.

"But we do have some stuff planned this year - which might involve being in the UK."

James said there are no concrete plans in place at the moment, but he would love to realise his ambition.

He explained: "We're talking about it now, really. We don't know if we'll be able to get it together but it's certainly something I'd love to do, for sure."
