    Cheryl's Girls Aloud bandmates have congratulated her on the birth of her first child

    The 33-year-old star and her boyfriend Liam Payne, 23, welcomed a son last week and Cheryl's pals couldn't be happier for the pair.


    Nicola took to Instagram to celebrate Cheryl's first Mother's Day on Sunday (26.03.17), sharing a picture of her and Cheryl with bandmate Kimberley Roberts, who has two sons.

    She wrote: "Happy Mother's Day my 2/3rds @cherylofficial & @kimberleywalshofficial.

    "Remember how we used to wonder what it would be like when we were older and the kids started coming.. [love] you both and love so much that there's little bubba's here now (sic)."

    And Nadine Coyle wrote: "Congratulations @cherylofficial I am so so happy for you & your precious little boy & family! Sending you loads of love! (sic)."

    Khloe Kardashian was also among the celebrity pals, who took to social media to congratulate the pair.

    She commented on Cheryl's Instagram snap of Liam and the baby: "Congratulations doll!!!! God bless your family!! I couldn’t be happier for you love! (sic)."

    And Liam's family couldn't contain their excitement, with his mother Karen writing on Instagram: "Finally I can boast that I am a grandmother! The happiest grandmother. I'm very proud of my children.

    "Everything I've been doing lately is crying, because I'm very happy, now I have the most beautiful grandson in the world… Thanks God (sic)."

    His sister Ruth wrote on Twitter: "Happy first mothers day @CherylOfficial eeek i just love him xxx (sic) and his other sibling Nicola tweeted: "What a lovely day today has been!!! I honestly didn't know love at first sight until today. Xx (sic)."
