David Beckham is “so so proud” of his daughter Harper

The 41-year-old former England football captain has gushed about his youngest child – who he has with his wife Victoria Beckham – on social media after she successfully rode on her bicycle without any assistance for the “first time” over the weekend.

The sporting hunk shared a video of his five-year-old child sporting a pink helmet whizzing along the pathway, whilst he ran beside her.

Speaking in the clip, which was posted on his Instagram account, the heartthrob – who also has sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12 – said: “First time riding on your own Harper.”

And he captioned the sweet post: “So so proud (sic).”

However, Harper isn’t the only member of the Beckham family he has recently praised publicly on his photo-sharing site, as he has credited his spouse of 17 years with “drive, passion” and “intelligence” in a heartfelt post.

Alongside an image of Victoria with his brood, which was edited in a black and white filter, he wrote: “Happy mama's day to another amazing mummy ... Someone that has raised these beautiful little ones to be the most precious , special and loved children ... A woman that has drive , passion , intelligence and love for her children what gets any better than that ?? Thank you for giving me the most beautiful gift @victoriabeckham @romeobeckham ( to all the mums have an amazing day ) (sic).”

And he has also paid tribute to his mother, Sandra, with a collage of a variety of photographs of him with his parent.

He wrote: “You deserve a day of love and looking after every single day but today is your day so don't resist the love that will be coming your way because normally you make it about everyone else except you. Thank you for being that person that has always been here for me no matter what... Happy Mother's Day mum. (sic).”
