Cheryl is reportedly considering offers to become the face of "various baby products" since giving birth to her son last week

The 33-year-old singer and her boyfriend and former One Direction singer Liam Payne welcomed a baby boy into the world on Wednesday (22.03.17), and is reportedly planning on letting her music take a back seat whilst she accepts advertisement offers.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl concedes she can't compete with the big names in the charts. She still wants to make music and was in the studio during the early days of her pregnancy. But it's not her number one focus any more, even though making music remains a huge passion.

"She is the new face on the baby market and has already been inundated with offers to be the face of baby products and various ranges. It's something that she really wants to exploit."

Meanwhile, the former Girls Aloud singer took to Instagram on Saturday (25.03.17) to share a picture of Liam, 23, holding their first child together as she announced the news of the unnamed tot's birth.

She wrote: "On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn't have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever (sic)."

Liam - who is currently working on his own solo career - posted the same picture as he said he was left "speechless" by the good news.

He wrote: "My close friends and family know there are very few times when I'm left speechless... wow!

"I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.

"I'm completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she's really made my dreams come true. We haven't named him yet but he's already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.

    "Happy Mother's Day everyone! (sic)."
