New Zealand is to get its own version of Australian television show Married at First Sight.
MediaWorks on Sunday announced it would start auditioning and producing the show and it would air between October and December.
Married at First Sight matches up four couples, who have never met before, at their "wedding" and follows them through their subsequent honeymoon and developing relationship.
The Australian version of the show had been Three's highest-rating international programme in 2017, says MediaWorks' chief content officer Andrew Szusterman.
"We are really excited to be producing New Zealand's first series of this hit show."
