Rolf Harris released from Stafford Prison ahead of court appearance

Australian entertainer Rolf Harris is released from Stafford Prison and will attend court in person next week as he pleads not guilty to four counts of indecent assault.

Australian entertainer Rolf Harris has been released from Stafford Prison in the UK.

He has arrived at his home in Berkshire.

Harris is on trial at London's Southwark Crown Court, where he has pleaded not guilty to four counts of indecent assault relating to three teenage girls in the 1970s and '80s.

The 87-year-old had been appearing in court via video-link from Stafford Prison, but he will appear in person on Monday (local time).

The jury in Harris' latest trial was not told why he was in prison.
