Colin Munro stars in Trinbago CPL win

Black Caps all-rounder Colin Munro has struck an unbeaten 70 as his Trinbago side defeated Guyana in their Caribbean Twenty20 Premier League match.

A star showing from Black Caps all-rounder Colin Munro has guided the Trinbago Knight Riders to a seven-wicket victory over the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Twenty20 Premier League.

Munro, emerging at first drop after Kiwi opener Brendon McCullum's golden duck, bludgeoned a quick-fire 70 from 47 for the hosts in Port of Spain, helping his side surpass Guyana's total of 156-7 with an over to spare.

Earlier, Martin Guptill hit 24 at the top of the Guyana order.

Trinbago sit in first place after winning two of their first three CPL matches, while Guyana have lost both of their two games.
