Ronchi, Milne star in English T20s

Luke Ronchi and Adam Milne have turned in star hands for their county sides in the English T20 competition.

New Zealanders have starred with bat and ball in the latest round of England's T20 Blast competition.

A spectacular half-century from Luke Ronchi, hit off just 19 balls and including seven fours and three sixes, helped Leicestershire to 183-6 and a four-wicket win over Yorkshire (182-5) at Grace Road.

The highlight of Ronchi's clean hitting was an upper-cut six high over third man off David Willey before he was out for 57.

It was Leicestershire's second win in two days and it puts them firmly back in the hunt for quarter-final qualification, the Press Association reports.

At Taunton, Adam Milne claimed 5-11 as Kent Spitfires beat Somerset by six wickets to also keep alive their chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals.

One of Milne's wickets included a brilliant airborne catch by fellow countryman Jimmy Neesham.

It was the 25-year-old's best figures for Kent as they dismissed Somerset for 149.

Kent reached 151-4 with 10 balls to spare.
