    One dead in crash in Te Puke

    One person has died and another is critically injured after a car hit a tree in Te Puke.


    One person has died and another is critically injured after a car hit a tree in Te Puke.

    The accident happened on Jellicoe Street at 6.05pm on Sunday, police say.

    One person has died and a critically injured person has been taken to Tauranga Hospital, St John ambulance says.

    Diversions around the accident affect people travelling through the Bay of Plenty township.
