Mark Ronson is reportedly dating singer Samantha Urbani

The 42-year-old musician recently split from his French wife Josephine de La Baume, but Mark has since entered into a relationship with the New York-born star, who is 22 years younger than him.

A source shared: "Sam has been a fresh of breath air for Mark who had been struggling to move on since the breakdown of his marriage.

"They spent Notting Hill Carnival all over each other and didn't seem to care who saw them.

"Mark kept on kissing her on the cheek and showing her a lot of affection. She was beside him for his birthday bash last week."

Although Mark's new romance is still in its early stages, the duo are said to be "smitten" with each other.

The insider told The Sun newspaper: "It's early days but they seem pretty smitten."

Mark's split from Josephine in May was widely considered to be a surprise.

The duo had been married since 2011, but Josephine cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation.

Prior to their split, she revealed she was stunned when Mark proposed to her and was amazed that he had worked on the design of the ring himself.

She said: "Mark proposed on the beach in La Rochelle - I had no idea whatsoever. He designed the ring - it's a yellow diamond, so beautiful...

"I didn't want to get married. I couldn't imagine myself in a cupcake dress - that's why I'm not going to have one! I always had a fantasy about having children so I just thought I'd get married, I don't know, when I was pregnant with my second child.

"I got so super-excited when it happened - even more excited than annoying girls in romantic comedies."
