    England-All Blacks Test date confirmed

The All Blacks will need to hit the ground running in Europe next year after it was confirmed England will be their first opponents.

World rugby heavyweights New Zealand and England will square off for the first time in four years when they meet at Twickenham next year.

The Test has been confirmed for November 10.

World No.2 England released their schedule, which features a tough clash against South Africa a week earlier. It finishes against Japan and Australia.

While the Springboks will provide a stiff challenge for the hosts, the All Blacks' preparation will comprise an away Test against current world No.11 Japan.

That Test has been organised to give the world champions a taste of rugby in the country hosting the following year's World Cup.

New Zealand have won 14 of their last 15 Tests against England, who have been revitalised since the arrival of Australian Eddie Jones as coach.

Jones has overseen 19 wins in his 20 Tests in charge and is already looking forward to locking horns with the team who own the No.1 ranking he craves.

"Over the next year we need to continue to develop a bullet-proof side, that can find ways to win in matches, and we will have to work hard and be smart in what we do to bridge the gap between us and the All Blacks," Jones said.

"Our ambition is to be the No 1 team in the world going into the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan."
