Perrie Edwards was rushed to hospital on Saturday (23.09.17)

The 'Black Magic' singer was forced to miss Little Mix's performance at the Daytime Village 2017 Capital One event in Las Vegas after falling ill with a "gastric problem".

Her spokesperson told MailOnline: "Perrie was taken ill overnight and had to go to hospital with gastric problem.

"She saw a doctor and was sadly unable to perform."

The remaining members of the group, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson, took to the stage as a three-piece without the 24-year-old star.

Meanwhile, Perrie recently insisted she is "really happy" for her boyfriend, soccer player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain following his recent move from Arsenal to Liverpool, despite speculation their 10-month romance was under strain.

She said: "I don't think it will be difficult. It's going to be different - but that's not a problem.

"We'll be fine. I'm just really happy for him and very proud."

It was previously revealed the blonde beauty had been keen for the sportsman to move to another team in London, rather than North West England, as it would be easier for them to see one another.

A source said recently: "Perrie and Alex disagreed about which club he should move too. Perrie really wanted him to choose Chelsea as it's closer to her home and his.

"Plus when she's travelling with Little Mix, they often fly into and from London which means she would be able to spend time with him, even if not for long.

"Alex had his heart set on Liverpool though. Of course she supports his decision but it's not been easy."
