Player ratings for Melbourne and North Queensland from the NRL grand final in Sydney.

The man of the match was safe under some testing high balls, put Felise Kaufusi through for his try and scored himself close to halftime.

    Suliasi Vunivalu 6/10

Quiet night for the prolific try-scorer as Josh Addo-Carr hogged the limelight.

    Will Chambers 8/10

    Curtis Scott 6/10

Managed a try to cap a dream season for the 19-year-old.

    Josh Addo-Carr 9/10

    Cameron Munster 8/10

Constantly stood up and offloaded in tackles to instigate plenty of second-phase play.

    Cooper Cronk 8/10

Had a hand in everything close to the line in a superb final game for the Storm.

    Jesse Bromwich 6/10

Notched up 135m as he laid the foundation for the Storm's big three.

    Cameron Smith 9/10

    Jordan McLean 6/10

Like Bromwich, solid shift up front to go with 26 tackles.

    Felise Kaufusi 8/10

Always dangerous and defensively sound with 38 tackles, the 25-year-old hit a gap to score the Storm's second try.

    Tohu Harris 8/10

Enjoyed his last Storm appearance, topping the tackle count with 43 and throwing a nice long pass for Addo-Carr's late try.

    Dale Finucane 6/10

The fan favourite barged his way over to settle the Storm after a second-half Cowboys fightback.

    Ken Bromwich 5/10

    Tim Glasby 5/10

Saw 38 minutes of action from the bench and finished with 27 tackles.

    Nelson Asofa-Solomona 7/10

Entered play in the final 12 minutes with the game won.

    Lachlan Coote 6/10

Solid defensively but could not get involved in his side's attack.

    Kyle Feldt 7/10

Barnstorming run to close the first half and gain plenty of ground for his side.

    Justin O'Neill 6/10

Lots of good early involvements, but missed a tackle on the line that allowed Slater to cross.

    Kane Linnett 5/10

Failed to make an imprint on the contest but toiled hard to land 22 tackles.

    Antonio Winterstein 6/10

Proved tough to stop with eight tackle busts, but had a costly brain explosion when he knocked on unnecessarily diving at a Cronk grubber late in the first half, an error that led to Melbourne's third try.

    Te Maire Martin 6/10

Youngster not overawed on the big stage, keeping his side alive with a try to open the second stanza.

    Michael Morgan 4/10

His running game never got going, while his kicking game caused few problems.

    Shaun Fensom N/A

The former Raider's night lasted just three minutes, taken from the field in a medicab after an ugly leg injury.

    Jake Granville 6/10

    Scott Bolton 4/10

Eleven runs for 78m in an honest showing from the Innisfail product.
