    Black Sticks rout PNG 33-0

    The New Zealand women's hockey team have blasted 33 goals past Papua New Guinea in their opening match of the Oceania Cup.


    The New Zealand women's hockey team have breezed past Papua New Guinea 33-0 in their opening game of the Oceania Cup.

    Samantha Harrison grabbed nine goals and Rachel McCann and Olivia Mary seven each in the rout in Sydney on Wednesday night.

    The Black Sticks led 20-0 at halftime.
