    Motorcyclist dies in Auckland crash

    A motorcyclist has died after coming off their bike in a crash on Stancombe Road in southeast Auckland on Wednesday morning.


    A motorcyclist has died after a serious crash in Auckland.

    Emergency teams rushed to the crash on Stancombe Road, near Kestev Drive in the south east of the city, about 5.50am on Wednesday.

    The person died after coming off the motorbike in the crash, police say.

    Diversions are now in place along Chapel and Erica Roads with the serious crash unit on the scene.
