    Korean student named as fatal crash victim

    The person who died in a two-car crash in the Christchurch suburb of Linwood a week ago was a South Korean woman studying in Queenstown, police say.


    A South Korean student studying in Queenstown has been named as the person who died in in a two-car crash in Christchurch.

    She was Hyunseo Lee, 30.

    The crash happened in Worcester Street, Linwood, on October 31, and resulted in three other people being taken to hospital.

    Police say they are providing support to the family and thanked members of the public who gave first aid at the scene.

    Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.
