Fans asked to pick rugby try of the year

Rugby fans are being asked to vote for their favourite rugby try of 2017.

A Chiefs long-range special, a Portia Woodman's classic or Beauden Barrett's Bledisloe matchwinner are among the rugby tries of the year that fans can vote for.

Sky TV's commentator judging panel, along with New Zealand Rugby, have shortlisted 10 action-packed tries from the current season for fans to choose from, with the winner of the Sky TV Fans Try of the Year to be announced at the annual Rugby Awards on December 14.

"The depth and breadth of our game has been showcased again this season with some exceptional talent on display across all of our competitions," says NZR's general manager of rugby Neil Sorensen.

"This is a great opportunity for all fans to voice their opinion, and debate with mates, on which try they think is the most memorable of 2017."

Pick your favourite at allblacks.com/skyfanstry - voting closes November 22.

The awards will be televised from 7.30pm on Sky Sport 1 on December 14.
