    Otara murder accused named

A woman accused of murder over a stabbing in Auckland's Otara can now be named.

A woman charged with murder over a stabbing in Auckland's Otara can now be named.

Silapea Momoisea appeared in the High Court at Auckland on Wednesday where a suppression on her name was lifted.

The 42-year-old was arrested in June after police discovered a man, 55, dead at a home in Cobham Crescent following reports of a stabbing.

Momoisea has denied a single charge of murder and will stand trial in July next year.

She will return to court in February.
