Adriana Lima is planning to walk in her last Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in "two years"

The 36-year-old supermodel made her first appearance in the lingerie brand's annual catwalk extravaganza in 1999, one year prior to acquiring her Angel wings, and made her 18th appearance in the latest event in Shanghai, China, on Monday (20.11.17)

The Brazilian beauty has stated to think about her future and thinks that it might be a good time to call it quits when reaches the landmark of 20 shows.

Speaking to PEOPLE about her future with Victoria's Secret, Adriana - who has daughters Valentina, eight, and Sienna, five, with her former partner Marko Jaric - said: "I plan to be at 20. Two more years. Maybe more, I don't know."

However, Adriana has admitted the date of her retirement could change depending on how she looks and feels in the future.

She added: "It's nature. I'm working out, I'm being healthy, so let's see how the body is going to turn out. But I enjoy it. So let's say 20."

Adrianna wowed crowds as she donned a black mesh underwear set with black thigh-high lace-up heels and matching Angel wings.

And the fashion muse has admitted she felt "very emotional" starring in the fashion extravaganza of the year.

She explained: "This is my 18th Victoria's Secret fashion show, and I could not be more excited to be in Shanghai. I feel very emotional to be part of it, in a good way. After so many years and to have a chance to see Victoria's Secret go and have their fashion show internationally, it's really an honour for me to be part of it."

Adriana graced the runway with fellow angels Alessandra Ambrosio, Bella Hadid, Lily Aldridge, as well as Lais Ribeiro who was handpicked to wear the highly coveted Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra.

And Adriana believes "every girl" she strutted down the platform with "deserves" their place in the showcase.

She said: "And every girl who is here deserves to be here. They've got what it takes to be an Angel. They have unbelievable personalities. I appreciate to get this kind of respect and love from the girls I work with. We work together. We spend a lot of time doing the show so it's important that we have this kind of connection with each other. It will show later in the work, when we are on the runway or doing commercials together. I really appreciate this from them."

This year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air on November 28 on CBS in the US and will be available to view first in the UK & Ireland on Hayu, the reality on demand channel, from 7am on November 29.
