All Blacks centre George Moala is France-bound, having signed a multi-year deal to join Clermont Auvergne.
The powerful 27-year-old will play out the 2018 Super Rugby Season with the Blues before joining the French club on a three-year deal.
He has suited up for the All Blacks on four occasions, his last being during the 2016 loss to Ireland in Chicago.
Clermont sporting director Franck Azema said in a statement on the club's website Moala would bring "strength to the middle of the pitch".
"He's excellent in defence and in attack is capable of making the difference as much with his side steps as his strength."
Clermont are sitting ninth in the Top 14 standings after 12 matches, having won the title last season.
Moala will link up with All Black Isaia Toeava and former-Chiefs forward Fritz Lee when he joins the French club.
