    Elderly woman hit by car in Taranaki

    An woman in her 80s has been struck by a car in the Taranaki town of Stratford.


    A woman in her 80s has been struck by a car in the Taranaki town of Stratford.

    The pedestrian was hit on Broadway about 11.45 am on Sunday and was left with moderate injuries, a police spokeswoman said.

    She was being treated by ambulance staff at the scene.
