    Police find diver's body in Sounds

    Police believe they have found the body of a 25-year-old free diver who went missing in the Marlborough Sounds.


    Police believe they have found the body of a free diver missing in the Marlborough Sounds.

    Baden Pierce McNab, 25, from Owaka in Otago, disappeared near Titi Island on Tuesday.

    Police divers searching in the area recovered a body on Wednesday afternoon.

    Formal identification of the body has yet to be completed but Senior Sergeant Peter Payne says it is believed to be that of Mr McNab.

    Next of kin have been notified.
