Former All Blacks prop Carl Hayman will turn out as a wild card for French club Pau in next month's Brisbane Global Tens tournament.
Hayman, now aged 38, is currently the Top 14's forwards coach but will pull on the white-and-green kit in Brisbane alongside a host of ex-All Blacks.
Legendary midfielder Conrad Smith leads a phalanx of Kiwis to ply their trade for Pau, including Jamie Mackintosh, Colin Slade and Frank Halai.
Having retired from the professional game in 2015 after stints with Newcastle and Toulon, Hayman has also made a playing comeback for amateur French side Bizanos, occupants of the fifth tier of French rugby.
"It will be pretty interesting to see how a 38-year-old goes against all these Super Rugby boys," the ex-Highlanders tighthead said.
"It'll be nice to chuck the boots on and get out there.
"I've been putting the training in and keeping in reasonable nick."
Hayman earned 45 All Blacks Test caps between 2001 and 2007.
