    One dead in Waikato road accident

    One person has died after a road accident in Pukekawa in Waikato.


    One person is dead after a motorcycle accident on State Highway 22, in Pukekawa in Waikato.

    Emergency services were called to the scene just before 9.30am on Sunday.

    A police spokeswoman says part of SH22 has been closed as a result and diversions are in place.
