    Christchurch bar robbed at gunpoint

    A Christchurch bar has been robbed at gunpoint by a man wearing a black hooded jacket and a ski glove on his left hand.


    Police are investigated the armed robbery of a Christchurch bar.

    At about midnight on Saturday, a man with a firearm walked into Trevinos Restaurant & Bar on Riccarton Road, threatened an employee and stole cash.

    He was wearing a black hooded jacket, a ski glove on his left hand and jeans.

    A scene guard was in place overnight and police are currently conducting a forensic examination and reviewing CCTV footage.
