State Highway 1 is blocked south of Sanson after a collision between two cars and a logging truck in which the driver of a car died.

The driver of a car has died after a crash with a logging truck on State Highway 1, south of Sanson.

Emergency services were called to the crash involving two cars and the truck about 10km south of Sanson about 4.45pm on Sunday, police said.

The deceased person was the sole occupant of one of the cars and the occupants of the other car were not injured, police said.
