Hunt for Dunedin bank robber continues

Security camera footage has been released of a man who police suspect robbed a bank on Dunedin's outskirts last Friday.

A suspected bank robber is still at large with police releasing security camera footage from the hold up at a bank on Dunedin's outskirts.

The man entered the BNZ branch in Mosgiel last Friday, carrying what is believed to have been a firearm, police say.

He then threatened staff before making a getaway in a small, black car with stolen cash, police said.

He is described as being about 190cm tall with a solid build.

The BNZ staff were not injured but were shaken up by the incident, police said at the time.

They have asked for anyone with information to call them.
