Adams' OKC fall to Lakers again in NBA

Steven Adams has scored 13 points as his Oklahoma City Thunder side lost their second NBA game to the Los Angeles Lakers in four days by 106-81.

Kiwi basketballer Steven Adams has scored 13 points and nine rebounds as his Russell Westbrook-less Oklahoma City Thunder side were routed 106-81 by the Los Angeles Lakers in Friday's NBA action (NZT).

Westbrook, out with an ankle issue, was a major loss for the Thunder, who lost to the Lakers for the second time in just four days.

They've suffered defeat in five of their past six NBA games.

Paul George top scored for the Thunder with 29 points.

In last week's 114-100 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, Adams hit 3000 career points for the Thunder, matched only by Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka.
