The Wellington Blaze cricket team have won their third New Zealand Women's Twenty20 crown in six seasons.
Ahead by one win heading into this weekend's final round in Lincoln, the Blaze were guaranteed the title by awful weather, which forced the cancellation of all three of the round's matches without a ball bowled.
They finished with a record of seven wins, two losses and an abandonment, four points ahead of the second-placed Auckland Hearts.
Canterbury Magicians were another two points back in third.
The Blaze's Lucy Doolan finished with the equal-highest wicket-taking haul alongside the Hearts' Anna Peterson, taking 16 scalps.
Bernadine Bezuidenhout, of the Northern Spirit, top-scored with 280 runs.
