Aaron Carter is writing an advice book aimed toward helping young stars navigate fame

The 30-year-old singer shot to fame when he was just 10 years old and has plenty of stories to tell about growing up in the spotlight, and after recently completing two months in rehab, the star has decided to pen his own book aimed at teaching young people how to appropriately deal with the spotlight

He said: “That is something that my team and I have been talking about. Doing a book and really getting in-depth though and not just making it some tell-all.

“I think my experiences can teach a lot of people a lot of things about this industry and growing up and there’s a lot of young kids that, like, are being put into this industry and I see it and I desperately want to find ways to protect them because I grew up, you know, with parents that didn't do the best job managing money and finances and even raising their kids and teaching them right from wrong. I learned a lot of things a little bit later in life because of the industry that I had growing up.”

It isn’t just a book deal that the ‘I Want Candy’ hopes is in his future though, as he admits he’d love to find a partner and start a family.

Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he said: “Moving forward, I want to be able to be a good father, be healthy, have kids. I’m going through certain things that are really challenging … Going to rehab, getting arrested. It's all a testament to my character and building my character as a man. Every single thing in my life I take as a lesson.

“We all deserve to be loved. I think I've been loved for some of the wrong reasons. I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who tries to figure me out by Googling me.”
