Jordin Sparks held a "beautiful" baby shower for her family and friends on Saturday (17.02.18)

The 26-year-old singer-songwriter is set to welcome her first child with husband Dana Isaiah into the world in late April, and Jordin has taken to her Instagram account to giver her followers an insight into her "low key" baby shower in Arizona

Alongside a photograph of her niece kissing her growing baby bump, Jordin wrote: "Little Bug can't wait to meet her cousin. [crying emoji] We had a low key baby shower for Little man in AZ with family and friends this afternoon. It was beautiful. I am so grateful for the support system I've had growing up and the roots that took hold to support us now. This journey is incredible. God is good. Jordin - who married Dana in secret in July - announced she was expecting a baby boy in November, when she revealed that they are "beyond excited" about the news.

The couple said in a statement: "We're beyond excited to be having a little boy. We cannot wait to meet him and love him so much already!"

And Jordin - who previously dated fellow musician Jason Derulo - also wrote on Instagram: "IT'S A BOY!!! We have so much to be thankful for and this is definitely at the top of the list!... (sic)"

Meanwhile, the 'No Air' hitmaker revealed she'd been wearing her husband's clothes became she hadn't had time to purchase any maternity wear.

She shared: "For the past month, it's been this in-between stage where I've been taking a hair tie and clipping the hole of [my] jeans onto the little buckle.

"It kind of helps open them a little bit. Then that stopped working and I was just like 'Babe, can I wear your sweatpants?' I've been wearing his sweatpants all the time!"
