Liam Gallagher has said the key to being a “rock star” is having “loud farts”

The former Oasis frontman has jokingly claimed that musical talent counts for nothing when it comes to being a rock star, because all a person needs to have is the ability to produce loud farts, as they need to have the confidence to admit it was them who let out the smelly gas

Liam made the jovial comments as he was interviewed by a group of children for Noisey, who pressed him on the important questions such as his favourite type of fart.

He said: “Oh it’s gotta be the loud ones. The loud ones. Loud farts.

And I want people to know when I’ve farted, you know what I mean? Do you know what I mean? Because you’re proud of it aren’t you? When it’s silent and that, sometimes [other people] take credit for it but you want it to just tear the house down don’t you?”

And when another of the young children asked the 45-year-old ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker if he worked hard at school, Liam had another witty answer up his sleeve to send the children into fits of laughter.

He said: “No. I did go to school when I was your age and all I did was look out the window and do loud farts. It’s true, it’s true. If you wanna be a rock star, look out the window, stare at the clouds, and do loud farts.”

Elsewhere in the fun-filled interview, the ‘For What It’s Worth’

singer still found time to poke fun at his older brother and musical rival Noel Gallagher, as he joked that he was the same height as one of the young kids.

When one child exclaimed they knew his brother’s name was Noel, Liam

said: “Oh yeah. He’s naughty. And he’s not much bigger than you actually. What shoe size are you?”

The young girl told him she was an 11E, and he added: “Yeah, I think he’s about 11A.”
