Dwayne Johnson has joked he “can’t make boys”, as he is expecting another baby girl

The 45-year-old actor is expected to welcome his third child into the world any day now when his partner Lauren Hashian gives birth, and has lamented his inability to produce a son, as the tot will be a little sister to his and Lauren’s two-year-old daughter Jasmine, and his 16-year-old daughter Simone, whom he has with ex-wife Dany Garcia

Speaking on an episode of ‘The Graham Norton Show’, which airs on Friday (13.04.18), Dwayne - who kept his phone switched on during the recording in case Lauren went into labour - said: “It’s a girl. I can’t make boys, but I keep trying to - that’s the fun part!”

The baby’s imminent birth comes after the ‘Fast and Furious’ star admitted he was on “high alert” during a recent trip to Shanghai, as he thought his wife would go into labour whilst he was away.

Before he travelled, he explained: "We're expecting probably within the next two weeks so I'm on Code Red, high alert ... This Friday I've got to go to Shanghai.

"I have got to go, but we have an understanding. As of now, the plan is, because as of now the doctor said we should be ok. The baby should be born when it's due, which is April 25. So we'll see. We're taking a chance here. We're taking a shot. I have to go to Shanghai, then I have to go to London for ‘Rampage.'"

Although Dwayne and Lauren haven’t welcomed their daughter into the world yet, they already have a named picked out.

Lauren said: "We're thinking about Tia. It's simple, it's Polynesian-ish. And I feel like she might come out looking like a Tia.

I mean, she could come out any which way, because we're complete opposites."
