Charles Baycroft is concerned people's health may be compromised in July's 1080 drop - publishing a letter in a community newsletter distributed from Ross to Haast.
He says evidence shows 1080 causes cellular damage and can harm vital organs.
Resident Eileen Jones says she's considering getting her blood tested - knowing how hard it is to avoid 1080 dust, from previous experience.
