NZ Netball future bright according to Northern Mystics coach
Northern Mystics coach Helene Wilson believes the now defunct trans-Tasman netball competition contributed to the Silver Ferns' demise at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

There were only five New Zealand franchises in the old ANZ Championship and a number of roster spots, particularly at the shooting end, were filled by imports.
With six teams in the ANZ Premiership and with a development league underneath it, Wilson says they can now invest in more local talent.
She says in the next four year cycle of Commonwealth Games and world cup there will be a lot of exciting netball coming out of New Zealand.
The Silver Ferns have returned to their ANZ Premiership teams, with the competition beginning with a triple-header in Palmerston North on Sunday.
