Finance Minister endorses regulators questioning Australian-owned banks

Australia's Royal Commission into banking has found banks frequently charged customers for services they never provided.

The Financial Markets Authority and Reserve Bank Governor have asked banks here to give solid evidence they're not doing the same.

Grant Robertson says while there's nothing suggesting they are operating in this way, it's something they should be able to prove to New Zealanders.
