    Helen Clark new patron of Team New Zealand

    Helen Clark has been named the new patron of Team New Zealand


    The former Prime Minister and UN Development Program administrator has accepted the offer from syndicate chief Grant Dalton.

    Dalton says she's a staunch long-time supporter of the team, and will be an ongoing advocate.

    Clark says she's proud to represent such a dedicated and resilient team, who are tremendous ambassadors for New Zealand.

    She's confident of the team's chances in 2021, with goodwill and support from New Zealand and around the world.
